What this is
A physical activity program, not a sports clinic
The problem most sites are trying to solve is not that students need another sport. It is that they need to move well, want to come back, and get something out of the hour that carries past it.
So the program is built on movement fundamentals — running, changing direction, landing, balance, coordination — taught progressively across a block of sessions and applied through games students actually want to play. Flag football is one application at the end of the arc, not the point of it.
Alongside the physical work, every session carries the same behavioral thread: teamwork, communication, respect for teammates, and how to compete and lose well. At Mission that was the part the site coordinator noticed first.
Sessions are led personally by Carl Bradford — four seasons in the NFL as a linebacker, a fourth-round Green Bay draft pick in 2014, and a former high school defensive coordinator. That background is why the coaching holds up. It is not what the program is about.
