Your athlete has no off-season
High school ball runs February to May. Travel ball runs almost everything else. Add fall ball and winter showcases and a serious player can go three years without a genuine break from throwing.
That is the single biggest driver of arm injury in youth baseball, and it is not caused by pitching hard. It is caused by pitching hard, year-round, on a body that never got stronger in between — because there was never a window to build.
The job here is to find that window inside a calendar that doesn't offer one, and to use it properly when it appears. Sometimes that means telling a family their kid should skip a showcase. That is a conversation we're willing to have.

Baseball and softball carry the most complete program in the system — a full five-phase arc with a dedicated peaking block, and the only one alongside football that Carl has hand-written from his own sessions rather than built from the engine.
Whatever genuine gap the travel schedule allows. Heaviest loading of the year, posterior chain, and rebuilding the shoulder and hip capacity that a long season quietly drains. Eleven programmed blocks live here.
Four weeks of peaking into the high school season. Rotational velocity work moves to the front, total volume drops, and throwing progressions ramp deliberately rather than starting at full effort in February.
Thirteen in-season blocks. Short sessions, maintained strength, and arm care that runs every single week — because the games are the load and nothing we add should compete with them.

Arm and field are different jobs
The program splits by role, because a pitcher's week and a position player's week should not look the same.
Shoulder and scapular work every session, not as a warm-up afterthought. Loading is managed around throwing days, and the heaviest upper-body work never sits next to a bullpen. Hip and trunk work carries most of the power development.
Rotational power, first-step acceleration and deceleration. More sprint work, more change of direction, and bat-speed development through the hips rather than the arms.
Same five-phase structure, adjusted for the windmill motion, a shorter base path and the different shoulder demands that come with both. Not a baseball program with the name changed.

What actually changes
Power comes from the ground, not the arm
Both sports are rotational, single-leg and violent in short bursts. Almost everything that matters — bat speed, throwing velocity, the first step out of the box — is produced by the legs and hips and transmitted through a trunk stiff enough not to leak it.
So the program spends its time on single-leg strength, hip rotation and anti-rotation trunk work, and comparatively little on the arm itself. The arm work that does exist is maintenance, deliberately unglamorous, and never skipped.
Athletes train in grade-band groups alongside every other sport. The company is mixed; the programming is not.

Which group to join
Grouped by grade. Pricing and full detail on the programs page.
Grades 2–5 · Speed & Movement
No rotational specialisation and no loading. Sprint mechanics, coordination, body control — and a deliberate break from the specialisation travel ball starts far too early.
Grades 6–8 · Performance
Arm care begins properly here, alongside teaching the movement patterns before load is added. Capped at three sessions a week, which for a travel ball athlete is usually the right ceiling anyway.
Grade 9–12 · Elite
Full arm/field tracks, the complete season arc above, and loading managed around a real throwing schedule.
Ages 7–10 · Not in Chino

Before you call
Will lifting hurt my pitcher's arm?
Done badly, anything can. Done properly, strength training is one of the few things that protects a throwing arm — a stronger athlete absorbs the deceleration that throwing demands. What hurts arms is throwing volume with no strength underneath it.
He plays travel ball almost year-round. Can he still train?
Yes, but the honest conversation is about total load. We'll build around the schedule and tell you plainly if we think there's too much of it. Sometimes the most useful thing we do is take a session away rather than add one.
Do you do hitting or pitching lessons?
No. This is the strength, speed and arm-care side — the physical engine underneath the skill. Keep your hitting coach; we make the athlete they're coaching more capable.

When's the best time to start?
The off-season block, if you have the choice — that's where the actual building happens. But starting mid-season is fine; we'll put your athlete into in-season loading and pick up the heavy work when the calendar opens.
