Homeschool PE,
coached like a sport.

A daytime physical education and athletic development program for homeschool and charter families across the Inland Empire — built on SHAPE America movement-skills standards and coached to the same standard as everything else in this building.

Why this exists

Homeschool families shouldn't have to choose between a real education and a real PE class.

Most homeschool PE is a park meetup. This is a structured curriculum: eight instructional blocks built on the SHAPE America movement-skills domains, taught in a training facility, by a coach who spent four seasons in the NFL as a linebacker and has spent twenty-plus years in the game.

Kids learn to sprint, change direction, land safely, and move with control — the same fundamentals every athlete in this gym is taught, delivered at an age-appropriate level and in daylight hours that fit a homeschool day.

For charter families

We accept charter purchase orders

Bradford Fitness is set up to work with charter school vendor systems. Your charter authorizes one purchase order per term, we invoice the school, and payment runs Net 30 — so instructional funds cover the program and nothing comes out of pocket at enrollment.

Carl holds a current California Mandated Reporter certificate, as charter vendor agreements require of anyone working directly with students. The same programming runs inside public schools — fourteen sessions at Mission Elementary in Ontario-Montclair School District last spring. See the school program.

Send purchase orders and vendor paperwork to carl@bradfordfit.com, or call and we'll walk you through it. Every student also needs a signed waiver before their first session.

Questions from homeschool parents

What families ask first

Does this satisfy a PE requirement?

The curriculum is built on the SHAPE America movement-skills domains, which is the standard framework most charters and umbrella programs look for. We can provide attendance records and a curriculum outline for your education specialist.

Which charters do you work with?

Bradford Fitness is an approved vendor with Epic California Academy, IEM charter schools and Elite Academic Academy for the 2026–27 year, so those families can direct their learning or instructional funds here. If your charter is not on that list, call and we will tell you whether we can be added. We work with families across the Inland Empire and are set up for charter purchase orders generally — call or email with your charter's name and we'll tell you exactly where we stand with their vendor system.

My kids are different ages. Can they both come?

Yes — grades 6–8 run at 10:00 AM and grades K–5 at 11:00 AM back to back, so one drop-off covers both. Siblings get 10% off each additional child.

Do we commit for the whole year?

The default is a semester commitment billed monthly, with full-year enrollment starting in January. The monthly rate is flat regardless of term length. Drop-ins are $30 if you'd rather try it first.

Is my child athletic enough for this?

This is a PE class, not a tryout. Kids arrive at every level and the session is scaled to the individual. The point is that they leave more capable than they arrived.

Bring your student for a drop-in, or call and we'll walk you through enrollment and your charter's purchase order process.
